Justice Sanjay Yadav, The Senior Most Judge of the Allahabad High Court has been appointed as the acting Chief Justice of Allahabad.
The Decision Comes as the office term of Incumbent Chief Justice, Justice Govind Mathur, is Set to expire on April 13, 2021, Upon his retirement.
Justice Yadav was enrolled as an Advocate on August 25, 1986, and practiced in the Madhya Pradesh high court at Jabalpur; He served as the Deputy Advocate General of Madhya Pradesh.
Justice Sanjay Yadav also elevated as a Madhya Pradesh High Court on March 2, 2007, and justice Sanjay Yadav was made a permanent Judge on January 15, 2015.
Sanjay Yadav also served as Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court From October 06, 2019, Till November 02, 2019, and from September 30, 2020, till January 02, 2021.
“ The Constitution Of India Article 223 Confers, The President is Pleased to appoint Justice Sanjay Yadav as a Cheif Justice of High Court of Allahabad, To perform the duties of the office of the Cheif Justice of that High Court effect from 14th April 2021.
