The Supreme Court has warned of superseding to the Pharmacy Council of India if the latter does not check its irregularities in recognition to pharmacy institutions despite the institutions having met all the prerequisites. The order was passed in response to the petition lodged by YNS College of Pharmacy and Research Centre. During the hearing it was noted that all the approvals by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) had been issued and affiliation letters for the bachelor course had also been issues. The no objection certificate was issued late and the University had not included them for counselling.
