The Supreme Court agrees to hear the petition filed by Alok Verma challenging the Central Government’s decision to remove him as the Director of CBI. Yesterday the central government had given the charge of CBI Director to M. Nageswar Rao IPS, in an extra ordinary measure.

Advocate Gopal Shankarnarayanan, on October 24th morning stated Alok Verma’s petition before CJI Ranjan Gogoi. Asthana had moved the Delhi High Court yesterday against the FIR registered the matter adjourning to High Court on October 29.
