A 23 year old Chennai based techie was killed in an accident and the High Court of Madars expresses displeasure by quoting that the court is tired of passing the orders over the use of political banners and hoardings. But the political apathy still continues in the state. The accident was due to the falling of a hoarding sign on a two-wheeler of the Chennai based techie, and Madars High Court says that it is already enough as in the past the court passed multiple orders regarding the use of illegal hoardings. The court also expresses displeasure that the political apathy still continues to exist irrespective of the fact that whichever party is in power and also said "that the court has done everything to stop the use of illegal hoardings only thing is left to shift the state secretariat to the high court". After this there was an urgent mention by a lawyer on the death of a 23 year old Subhasri Ravi.
The High Court also said that it will soon take a contempt petition filed by activist 'Traffic' Ramaswamy in the matter concerning the illegal hoardings. 'Traffic' Ramaswamy had lodged a complaint in the Pallikaranai police station saying that a report must be registered against the pollice officer, department official and the ruling party persons who were involved in the case of illegal hoardings, and his demand for the registration of the report after the death of Subhasri Ravi on thursday. The accident took place on thursday as she was riding a two wheller and the illegal hoarding fell on the 23 year old while she was driving resulting her to loose control and lost balance and then shw was run over by a water tank, the driver was arrested, she was a B-tech garduate and was not wearing a helmet. While she was driving though the road safety also comes to a concern and the need for people to wear helmets while driving but the major issue is the illegal hoardings despite the Madars High Court has passed multiple orders regarding the same, the court has come to a point of frustation and the fact being that the people's life are being at risk.
The police and the Chennai Corporation have booked AIADMK Councillor C Jayagopal after the illegal hoarding took the life of the 23 year old techie, a case was filed under section 4 of Tamil Nadu Open Places ( Prevention and Disfigurement ) Act, 1959 for installing illegal hoardings without permission. The haordings were put for the celebration of AIADMK functionary's son on the Pallavaram Thoraipakam rail road.
