After holding talks with the CJI and other judges of SC, the Supreme Court Bar Association has assured that judges have decided to resolve the rift with regard to allocation of cases. The BCI panel led by advocate Manan Mishra, met CJI justice Deepak Mishra at his residence after holding meetings with various judges of the apex court. He said that all the judges have assured of resolving the dispute. The Supreme Court Bar Association president Vikas Singh met the Chief Justice of India and gave him a resolution passed by the association. The SCBA resolution mentions grave concern over differences of senior most judges. After a stormy weekend SC will resume functioning from Wednesday. So far the CJI has remained silent regarding the allegations framed against him, it would be interesting to see if he speaks something on this issue after the court resumes its work on Monday. Resolutions have also been passed by Delhi District Court Bar Association, they have termed the incident as unfortunate and have suggested that an internal mechanism should be put in place to resolve such disputes.
