Karnataka government on Sunday released the guidelines to be followed for Unlock 1.0 after the Centre announced the new phase of the lockdown, ‘Unlock 1.0’. The Karnataka government announced guidelines for the operation of economic activities.
The new guideline notice said that all the lockdown measures will remain in action till the 30th of June.
With a view to the Centre’s guidelines, the places of religious worships, restaurants, hotels and other hospitality services along with complexes and shopping malls with start functioning from 8th of June in the state.
Almost all activities will resume in non-containment zones with people following proper safety norms.
The Karnataka government has already stated that it will resume inter-state travel services after taking consent from other states. Although many bus services such as Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has already resumed services with several restrictions in places and with properly following the guidelines to stop the further spread of Coronavirus.
In the case of schools and educational institutes, it has said that it will consult at an institutional level with the parents and stakeholders and will come to a decision in July.
Cinema halls, gymnasiums, swimming pool, entertainment parks, theatres, bars and auditorium halls or places where crowd gathering takes place will continue to remain shut. Academic, religious, cultural functions will not be allowed along with large congregations.
