The phase 4.0 of the lowdown is about to complete on 31st may 2020, the first phase of the long down was started from the 25th of March and it has been almost 2 months since the Lockdown has been imposed. Under the situation of lockdown 4.0 there were several major steps that were taken by government for the upcoming phase 5.0 which involves reopening of Malls temples and other public gathering places from June 8 outside the containment zones with proper guidelines and certain exceptions. So, lockdown 5.0 will also have unlock 1.0 as is counterpart. After the transferring of migrants to the respective state the next Big step has to be taken by the government to get back all the citizens of the country from different countries. Citizen of India who are stuck in different countries and are not able to get back to the nation will be provided aid from the government of India. Aviation ministry in accordance with the central government is planning the revival of such citizens from different countries. Another major step taken by the Navy to bring back around 1400 people from the neighboring countries such as Sri Lanka and Maldives. From the very beginning of the month of June the Indian Navy has decided to evacuate people from Sri Lanka and Maldives under the part of new phase and “operation samudra Setu” to rescue Indian citizens. The process of evacuating people will consists of two major steps taken by INS Jalashwa. Firstly, it will bring 700 Indians from Colombo and then it will move towards Male and return with the same number of passengers, all the evacuated people will be then taken to Tuticorin. Indian Navy in high spirits and with confidence said in the statements that “Indian Missions in Sri Lanka and Maldives are preparing a list of Indian nationals to be evacuated and will facilitate their embarkation after requisite medical screening. COVID-related social distancing norms have been catered onboard and evacuees would be provided basic amenities and medical facilities during the sea-passage.”
