Former U.S. President and a veteran Republican George W. Bush addressed the media regarding the nationwide protests for Floyd by saying that protestors should make a better way for Trump to Come Out. He said this regarding the incident on Tuesday in which Force cleared away full of protestors to let President Trump come out. He also condemned the killing of Floyd by identifying the case as severe form of racial injustice and he also urged protestors to make a better future.
Bush said, “There is a better way- the way of empathy, and shared commitment, and bold action, and a peace rooted in justice,” Bush said in the statement. “I am confident that together, Americans will choose the better way.”
Bush expressed his grief and also used the word "anguished" referring to the killing of George Floyd who was killed by Derek Chauvin a week ago. He also urged all the Americans to make sure that Black Americans don't feel any kind of disgrace due to their skin color. Black Americans should not feel disturbed and exploited, he said.
Few statements of Bush did not mention Trump, but somehow, directly or indirectly he did not leave a scope to grab present U.S. President around his words.
Former President also said, “The only way to see ourselves in true light is to listen to the voices of so many who are hurting and grieving. Those who set out to silence those voices do not understand the meaning of America- or how it becomes a better place.”
In his term, Bush also faced protests for going in war with Iran. Also, mishandling the situation of Hurricane "Katrina" which devastated the African- America communities.
