The COVID-19 has affected all the nations across the globe and in India, Lockdown has been imposed since the last 2 months with the object to stop the spread of virus and follow Social Distancing. Different courts have given different guidelines to maintain social distancing and administration of the covid-19 patients. Recently a petition was filed in Punjab and Haryana High Court by Devendra Mahajan challenge the decision of the administration to recreate Dharamshala and other similar lodging places as quarantine centers for the purpose of isolating people who would be returning from the other Nations and have to be Quarantined according to the guidelines given by the health ministry incoordination with the central government as there is a huge need for accommodation of covid-19 patients. As stated in the petition the quarantine center are the places where a lot of people from different stages of health stay together and therefore are densely populated and the protocols of the authorities adhere to maintain social distance and the authorities of those Quarantine centers are then being allowed to meet and intermingle with the people outside those quarantine centers who may or may not have the covid-19. What does petition was reverted by the additional advocate general Deepak Balyan. The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday has given orders to the administration of Panchkula to ensure that all the safety measures and precautions are taken at the quarantine centers and all the guidelines and the restrictions as stated by the center are being followed strictly on the patients at the Quarantine centers. The two judge bench of the High Court headed by chief justice Ravi Shankar Jha has ordered the concerned authorities to look ok over the Quarantine centers and the claims that the petitioner has asked and then take a decision considering all the benefits and consequences and work in accordance with the guidelines issued by the central government with regard to the quarantine centers.
