The Karnataka government on Sunday declared an average for gym operators allowing them to role with 50 % occupancy.
The state government has called on the gyms to abide by the Covid-19 safety rules such as wearing of masks, physical distancing, and supply of hand sanitizer are enforced.
From 28th March to 3rd April, Bangaluru had recorded 18,075 cases. Active cases increased from 15,882 to 26,544 during the period. 32 more death cases in Karnataka linked to covid-19 on Monday 5th April.

a member of Karnataka's expert committee on Covid-19, Dr.H Sudarshan Ballal is not surprised by the numbers mentioned by Dr.Babu. Dr.H Sudarshan Ballal said that the Covid-19 cases in Bangaluru will go beyond 6,000 as the way the second wave is turning out. Public unconsciousness and lack of enforcement are the actual reason behind this.
Experts also fear about the cases to increase daily by the third week of April.
The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) remained open to its primary health centers for vaccination on Sunday.
Dr.Ballal said that the government compulsorily at first vaccinate the healthcare workers to send a positive message to society.
Mr.Ravinder M Mehta said that they have vaccinated parts of the population. The government now focuses on resource allotment. He is a member of BBMP's Covid-19 task force committee.
