An Act further to amend the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Be it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:

Short title and commencement

1. (1) This Act may be called the Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Act, 2012.

(2) It shall come into force on the 15^th day of May, 2012.

Amendment of section 3A of Act 102 of 1956

2. In section 3A of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, in sub-section (2), for the words two years”, the words “three years” shall be substituted.
