THE SIKKIM ESSENTIAL SERVICES MAINTENANCE (AMENDMENT) ACT 1994

An Act to amend the Sikkim Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1993.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Sikkim in the Forty-fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Short title and Commencement.
(1) This Act may be called the Sikkim Essential Services Maintenance (Amendment) Act, 1994
(2) It shall come into force at once.
Amendment - 2. In the Sikkim Essential Service Maintenance Act, 1993, in section 2, of after clause(g), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:-
Section 2.
"(ga) any service connected with the Maintenance of law and order in the State including the services of the Sikkim Armed Police and Vigilance Police". rred by or under this Act as if this Act was if… force on the day on which such thing was done or such action was taken.
