THE JHARKHAND STATE UNAIDED EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION (GRANT) AMENDMENT ACT, 2007

PREAMBLE
AN ACT to amend Jharkhand State Unaided Educational Institution (Grant) Act, 2004
Be it enacted in the fifty eighth year of the Republic of India as follows :-
Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement
(i) This Act may be called Jharkhand State Unaided Educationl Institution (Grant) (Amendment) Act, 2007,
(ii) It shall come into force on such date i.e. 5th July, 2004 from which date Jharkhand State Unaided Educational Institution (Grant) Act, 2004 has come into force.
(iii) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Jharkhand,
Section 2 - Substitution in Section 3 of Jharkhand Act 04, 2004
The following clause in sub-section (c) (iv) of section-3 of the said Act.
"The college is registered under section 2 (f) of the university Grants Commission Act 1956 or gets registered as such within two years after receiving the grant."
Shall be substituted by the following provisions, namely:-
"The college is registered under section 2(f) of the university Grants Commission Act 1956 or gets registered as such within four years after receiving the grant."
