THE UTTARAKHAND POWER DEVELOPMENT FUND (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2009

PREAMBLE
An Act further to amend the Uttarakhand Power Development Fund Act, 2003
Be it enacted in the Sixtieth Year of the Republic of India by the State Legislature of Uttarakhand as follows:--
Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement
(1) This Act may be called the Uttarakhand Power Development Fund (Amendment) Act, 2009.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
Section 2 - Amendment of sub-section (3) of Section 7 of the principal Act
(1) In place of sub-section (3) of Section 7 of the Uttarakhand Power Development Fund Act, 2003 the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:--
"(3) For any other schemes/projects directly or indirectly cooperating in the development of Hydro Power Projects, construction of power evacuation system and development of power transmission system in State sector as determined by the Government".
