THE ORISSA LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY SPEAKER'S SALARY AND ALLOWANCES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2002
Orissa Act 6 of 2003
[Received the assent of the Governor on the 25th January 2003, first published in an extraordinary issue of the Orissa Gazette, dated the 1st February, 2003 (No. 162)]
An act further to amend the Orissa legislative assembly speaker's salary and allowances act, 1960.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
1. Short title.
This Act may be called the Orissa Legislative Assembly Speaker's Salary and Allowances (Amendment) Act, 2002.
2. Amendment of section 3.
In section 3 of the Orissa Legislative Assembly Speaker's Salary and Allowances Act, 1960 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "five thousand and five hundred rupees", the words "six thousand and five hundred rupees" shall be substituted.
3. Amendment of section 4.
In section 4 of the principal Act, for the words "two thousand rupees", the words "three thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
4. Amendment of section 4-A.
In section 4-A of the principal Act, for the words "rive thousand rupees", the words "nine thousand and five hundred rupees" shall be substituted.
