INDUSTRIAL DISPUTES (TAMIL NADU AMENDMENT) ACT, 2013
A Bill further to amend the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, in its application to the State of Tamil Nadu.
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Sixty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
1. Short title, extent and commencement.—
(1) This Act may be called the Industrial Disputes (Tamil Nadu Amendment) Act, 2013.
(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu.
(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint.
2. Amendment of Section 2.— In section 2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, in Clause (s), after the expression “technical,” the expression “sales promotion”, shall be inserted.
