TAMIL NADU CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES
(AMENDMENT) ACT (26 of 1990)

1. Short title and Commencement: (1) This Act may be called the TAMIL NADU CO-OPERATIVES SOCIETIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1990.
2. It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may be notification, appoint.
3. Special provision relating to election under Tamil Nadu Act 30 of 1983:- Notwithstanding anything contained in the principal Act or the rules, made there under, or in any other law for the time being in force, or in any judgment, decree or order of any court or other authority, any election held under the principal Act before the 30th day of October, 1989 to the board of any registered society shall be deemed never to have been held and accordingly no person shall be deemed ever to have elected to any board under the principal Act.
