DWELLING-HOUSE CONTRACT

 

THIS AGREEMENT made this_______ day of_______ ,20___

BETWEEN

________________________ (insert the name, address etc. of contractor)  (hereinafter called ‘the Contractor’) of the ONE PART

AND

________________________ (insert the name, address etc. of owner) (hereinafter called ‘the Owner ‘) of the OTHER PART, WITNESSETH:

1. The contractor, for the consideration hereinafter mentioned, agrees with the Owner, that he, the said Contractor, will within......... months next following this date, in a good and workmanlike manner, and according to his best skill, well and substantially erect and finish a dwelling house upon land of the said Owner, situate, etc. with bricks, stone, and other materials, as described in the plans and specifications hereto annexed, and the said dwelling-house is to be of the following dimensions, namely:_______ 
2. In consideration of which, the said Owner does hereby agree to pay the said contractor the sum of Rs_______  (Rupees_________) in the manner following_______ 
3. It is also agreed that the contractor shall furnish all bricks, stone, lime, doors, blinds, glazed sash, window frames, hardware, paint, and all other materials required for the complete building and finishing of said dwelling-house according to the above specifications.
