BUILDING CONTRACTOR’S BOND

 

KNOW ALL MEN by presents, etc.

WHEREAS, the said (principal) has by agreement in writing, dated the _________ day of _____, 20___, and made between the said (principal) of the ONE PART, And the said (Obligee) of the OTHER PART, entered into a contract for building a house at _____________

NOW, THE CONDITION of this obligation is such that, if the said (principal) his executors, or administrators, shall duly perform and observe all the stipulations and agreements contained in the said contract, and on his  and their part to be performed and observed, and so they any alteration which may be made by agreement between the said principal, and the said oblige, his executors, and administrators, in the term of said contract, or the nature of the work to be done thereunder, or the giving by the said (oblige), his executor, or administration, of any extension of the time for performing the said contract, or of any of the stipulations therein  in contained, and on the part of said principal to be performed, or any other forbearance on the part of the said oblige, his executor, or administrator, to the said (principal) his executor, or administrators, shall not in any way release the said (sureties) or either of them, or either of their heir, executors, or administrators, from their or his liability under the above-written bond, then, this obligation shall be void; otherwise it shall remain in full force and effect.
