Release of obligations under a lost-bond in favour of several obligors
THIS RELEASE is made the __________ day of ________ 20_____ by [releasor] of [address, etc.].
WHEREAS:
- [Obligors] by their bond or obligation dated the ______ day of_______ 20______ bound themselves to the said [releasor] for payment to him of the sum of Rs._______
- The sum of Rs.____________ mentioned in the said bond with all interest for the same due thereon has been paid to the said [releasor] in full discharge of the said bond.
- The said bond or obligation has been lost or mislaid and cannot be delivered up to the said [obligors].
NOW THIS DEED WITNESSETH that I the said [releasor] for the consideration aforesaid hereby release and forever discharge the said [obligors] and each of them their and every one of their personal representative from the obligation of the said recited bond and from all such sums of money as are therein mentioned to be due and payable to me the said [releasor] my personal representatives or assigns and also from all actions proceedings claims and demands whatsoever for or upon account of or in respect of the said bond or obligation or the monies therein mentioned or any part thereof.
