Dear Sir,

We hereby offer to employ you as an aircraft pilot in the grade of (Second Officer) upon the terms and conditions of the memorandum of agreement dated the ________ day of _________ which was negotiated by the Pilot Officers’ Association, for Civil Air Transport, and which incorporated our own regulations. A copy of this memorandum of agreement and of our regulations is enclosed herewith for your consideration and retention, our fleet of aircraft at present includes (types). You will in the first instance be required to fly in (type); and your remuneration, payable at (monthly) intervals, will, therefore, be Rs.________ as provided by Schedule A of the memorandum of agreement. You may, however, be required to fly in an aircraft operated by us or by any associated or subsidiary company for which you are duly qualified. The (Pilots’ Association) shall have your authority to negotiate on your behalf and to agree on your behalf to any variation of the above-mentioned terms and condition and if any fresh agreements shall be made by us and the (association) in the above-mentioned Pilot Officers’ Association terminating, varying or replacing the terms or conditions contained in the memorandum of agreement, then the terms and conditions of your employment shall be varied in accordance with such fresh agreement. A form of policy of insurance against death and injury has been agreed under the said agreement and may be inspected at this office.
