Dear Sir,
I write by arrangement with [mortgagor] of [address, etc.] to inform you of my agreement with him to value his property at _______ for the purposes of a mortgage advance which I understand you contemplate making upon it.
My terms of business will be as per schedule annexed hereto and I may charge two-thirds only of the scale fee for this valuation should an advance ultimately not be made, provided you are informed of this arrangement. I have agreed to work on these terms and to inform you accordingly.
I should be glad, therefore, if you would kindly note the position and acknowledge receipt of this letter.
