Total 79.32% of cases have been raised again in India. Ten states Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Chattishgarh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan have India's cases.
Health Ministry said yesterday 17th April that the union territories and ten states, counting Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi, provide an account for 79.32 per cent of the new coronavirus cases in the country.
Ministry of Health said that the highest number of daily cases are reported from Maharashtra is 63,729 after that comes Uttar Pradesh with 27,360 fresh cases and then Delhi with 19,486 fresh cases. Total 79.32% of cases have been raised again in India by yesterday's report.
The cases which are newly reported by the Health Ministry is 79.32%. States: Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Chattishgarh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan.
The states and the union territories from where the track of daily cases comes are Maharashtra, Chattishgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Andra Pradesh and West Bengal. Total sixteen states and union territories are in the count, said the ministry.
The five states Maharashtra, Chattishgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala- accumulatively account for 65.02 per cent of active cases in India. Maharashtra alone accounts for 38.09 per cent of the total active cases in the country.
Nearly 12 crore Covid-19 vaccines administrated in the country on Saturday which is the world's largest vaccine drive. Total 11,99,37,641 vaccine have been administrated through 17,37,539 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am yesterday.
With adding 91,05,429 healthcare workers who have taken the first dose and 56,70,818 healthcare workers who have taken the second dose 1,11,44,069, Frontline workers first dose, 54,08,572 Frontline worker second dose 4,49,35,011 first dose beneficiaries and 34,88,257 second dose beneficiaries who are more than 60 years old and 3,92,23,975 first dose and 9,61,510 second dose beneficiaries aged 45 to 60 years, as per the ministry.
