The All India Bar Association taken an exception to her resignation request from her position as the Chief Justice of High Court of Madars, as would be criticising the decision of the collegium of the Hon'ble Supreme court also stating that Justice Tahilramini has no mala fide intention on her part, hence the decision made by the collegium stands correct
" It should be taken into consideration that Chief Justice of Madras High Court has been benefitted by the decisions made by the collegium in the past , hence there must be some reason or any ulterior motive of her transfer case to the High Court of Meghalaya". said by the Chairman of the All India Bar Association Adish C Aggarwalla, hence it must also be noted that she was appointed as the acting Chief Justice of Bombay High Court three times and in this case the seniority is not considered and for the same if there was any malice she was not supposed to be appointed for the same and also her elevation as Chief Justice of Madras High Court in August 2018 , the Chairman also said that she has already served more than 13 months as the Chief Justice of Madars High Court and that is fairly a long term , for some unknown reasons the decision by the collegium on the transfer of the Justice Tahilramini the fact cannot be denied that the decision made by collegium can be considered as wrong.
Lastly the Chairamn of AIBA said" that all the Courts all equal in India and enjoy equal rights as also mentioned in the Constitution of India just because someplaces are smaller in geographical perspective one cannot deny the transfer it would be against the provisions enshrined in the Consituition and Justice cannot be admininstrated, and such misplaced attitude of Judges that would result that there will be no Judge in these areas or in such courts.
The AIBA( ALL INDIA BAR ASSOCIATION) also requested the Central Government to forwrd and carry on the transfer order given by the collegium and also notify the Chief Justice of HC of Meghalaya , Justice Mittal and to the Chief Justice of HC of Madras, Justice Tahilramini.
