When the issue came up for hearing last Friday, the Court agreed with recommendations made that the candidates should file the following credentials before the Bar Council:
Justice Kirubakaran recommended that, "the Ration card, Pan card and Aadhar card of the competitors must be checked to verify their address, economic well-being and their salary at the period of election. The Court has coordinated that every one of these recommendations be put by the BCI before the Committee named by the Supreme Court to investigate these issues, to be specific, the Justice Anil R Dave Committee. The issue has been recorded for hearing on Wednesday, December 13.
