In the stint of hearing a petition filed by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) Bar Association, the Delhi HC dictated the Home Ministry and CISF to analyze and examine the matter associated with the disruption or aggravation spawned to lawyers in setting foot into the premises of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal in Delhi (NCLAT). The case was being adjudicated by a vacation bench comprising of Acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice C Hari Shankar, concerned with the two objections of the petitioner. The first objection of the petitioner was with reference to daily pass issued. In the course of first hearing the petitioner averred that in pursuance to get entry passes, advocates were contrived into exhausting a lot of time by standing in long queues. Moreover, the petitioner questioned the procedure followed for entry in NCLAT, which every day enjoined the advocates to deliver their information and personal details in addition to presenting their identification document. Thereupon, the procedure of receiving online applications for short-term passes was instituted by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
