Reacting to the growth of demands for the cancellation of CBSE Board Exams 2021, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has established that it will conduct 10th and 12th Board Exams as per the Schedule,i.e from 4th May. Seeing the sudden rush in coronavirus cases, students over the country have been pleading with the government to cancel the Board exams 2021. Formerly on Friday, an online petition demanding the cancellation of CBSE Board Exam 2021 crossed 1,00,000 signatures.
The petitioners said that they are requesting the government to explore this matter and cancel all examinations which could lead them to take miserable decisions if they don't perform well. And also said to look into the matter seriously.
In the meantime, CBSE and (CISCE) the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations issued a joint statement and sure that all the necessary safety measures should be taken for the students during the exam.
Addressing (PTI) The Press Trust of India, a CBSE official said, 'The examinations centers all over the country have been increased to 40-50 percent with Covid-guidelines to make sure the social distancing among students during exams. The board is taking sufficient measures to conduct board exams 2021 in the middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic."
Formerly on Friday, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra Congress general secretary backed students' demands and said it is very incautious for the CBSE to force students to appear for the Board examinations and stipulated that the exams either be canceled or rescheduled considering the Covid-19 situation in the country.
" Board exams either be canceled, rescheduled, or arranged in a way that does not need the physical presence of children at the overfill exam centers," Tweeted by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on 11th April 2021.
