The Constitution of India was adopted by the constituent assembly on 26th November 1949 and it was enacted on 26th January 1950. The Constitution is a guideline for the Indian Judiciary to ensure justice among all the citizens. It includes all the rights and duties of both citizens and government towards the nation. The Constitution defines India which is also known as Bharat as Union of States. It constitutes India into a Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic. It is the lengthiest constitution of the world and it consists of 448 Articles,12 Schedules, and 25 parts at present. India follows the federal form of government where the powers are divided among central and state governments. For writing the Constitution of India constituent assembly was elected and the idea was proposed by M.N. Roy in 1934. The members of the Constituent Assembly were elected by a single, transferable vote system. Dr. Rajendra Prasad was elected as President and Harendra Coomar Mookerjee was elected as vice-president. It took 2 years, 11 months, and 18 days in drafting the constitution. Originally the Constitution had 395 Articles, 8 schedules, and 22 parts. Since it was first enacted in 1950 there have been 104 Amendments in Constitution till now. As per the constitution, there are 3 organs of government the Executive, Legislature, and Judiciary. The work of the legislature is to make law, executives ensure the proper implementation of the law and the judiciary interprets the law. It includes fundamental rights and duties of citizens which is mandatory for all to follow. The Constitution of India is just not a document but it is a guideline for the government to ensure proper justice and good governance among people of India. Bhagavat Gita is a Sanskrit text and a part of the epic Mahabharat. It is a conversation between Krishna and Arjun on the battlefield of Kurukshetra where Krishna explains Arjun about the essence and values of life. It is written by Vyasa and Consist of 700 verses and 18 chapters. It is dated the second century BCE. Krishna is also known as 1st motivational speaker in history. Bhagavat Gita is a guideline for human souls to live their life with DHARMA without having any grudges for other people so that in end Atma (souls) directly connects to god. There is no difference in Bhagavat Gita and the Constitution of India. Both are the guidelines for humans, one is for ensuring the piousness of the soul, and the other is for ensuring that the judiciary does complete justice with citizens of India.
