The Delhi Disaster Management Authority, GNCTD has asked all the District Magistrates to mandatorily convey groups at all clinical oxygen refilling establishments and plants falling under their locale "round the clock".
The request gave in such a manner on Wednesday by the DDMA read as follow:
"As you know that the accessibility of sufficient and continuous supply of Medical Oxygen is a significant pre-imperative for treating moderate and serious cases of COVID-19 during the current pandemic. Clinical Oxygen IP is a drug item and can't be sold in the market without a solution. It is important to prevent any storing and pilferage of Medical Oxygen IP, smooth refilling of Oxygen gas chambers and crowd management at such refilling establishment".
As per the request, it has been expressed that such groups conveyed will ensure that the Medical Oxygen IP will be sold by the retailers or refillers strictly as per their permit conditions.
Moreover, it has been given that respects to the necessities of clinics or ambulances, the Medical Oxygen IP retailing refilling units, while properly complying with their permit conditions, will mandatorily check prior to selling the copy of the ID Card of the individual getting the oxygen, authorization letter from the institution for which the Oxygen is being looked for and furthermore record of the type or number of cylinders refilling.

At the point when any Registered Doctor prescribes Medical Oxygen IP to any COVID-19 patient, the retailer (who is allowed to sell according to permit conditions), will only prescribed Medical Oxygen IP to/for the patient, only after appropriate checking of (I) the Doctor's medicine, (ii) copy of ID card of patient and (iii) ID card of the individual accepting the oxygen.
Considering expanded foot-fall in Medial Oxygen IP retailing/refilling units and resultant law issues obstructing their consistent activity the group will ensure adherence to COVID Appropriate Behavior (CAB) and furthermore give sufficient safety during the tasks of such oxygen refilling plants. Necessary help from police authorities might be looked at in this regard.
Compelling crowd management will be ensured by the group by executing proper procedures including token system and so forth All essential advances will be taken to try not to overcrowd.
