High Court of Chhattisgarh has prepone the summer vacation of the High Court and the Subordinate Courts by advancing the same from 17 may to 11 june by one week i.e. from 10.05.2021 to 05.06.2021 in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, the Gujarat High Court shall remain closed for Summer Vacation due to the covid-19 outbreak supreme court has also preponed the summer vacation it will reopen after 28 June starting on 10 May A circular issued by the Court last week said:
"It is circulated for the information of all concerned that upon consideration of the suggestions from the Bar due to Covid-19 infections, and in terms of provisions of the Supreme Court Rules, 2013 in that regard, H the Chief Justice of India has been pleased to direct that the Summer Vacation of the Supreme Court Calendar, 2021 be rescheduled to commence on Monday
the 10th May 2021, and the Hon'ble Court shall reopen after Summer Vacation on Monday, the 28 June 2021, and further that Saturday, the 13th November 2021 shall be a working day of the Hon'ble Court"
This decision is taken due to increasing cases of covid-19 and for the safety of judges and their family members and a number of employee working this high courts are tested positive for coronavirus, the High court and the Subordinate Courts would reopen on 07th June. High courts from Madhya Pradesh to Telangana will also be closed from 10th may to 4 june
National Company Law Tribunal and National Green tribunal has also modified their summer vacation calender and its scheduled to 20th may.
