Haryana CM: The salaries of all the health workers of haryana must be doubled
At this time of national health umergency there are still some class of people those are working as frontliners to save the country from the novel coronavirus. One such class is the health workers who are even working in the lockdown so that the lives of the people across the country can be saved. All health workers working in the hopitals are doing their duties in the most dangerous environment. To provide some benefit to them the Haryana Government has decided to give double salary to its state employees working in various state hospitals. This benefit will be given to all health employees that includes doctors, nurses and other health staffs. The khattar said that All those connected in this fight against coronavirus - be it doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, class IV staff, ambulance staff, testing lab staff, their salary will be doubled. The Haryana Government had taken this decision after consulting with state Health Minister Anil Vij and other medical officials of Haryana. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the decision will remain available for state health professionals till the fight against COVID-19 exists and the benefit will be given to all health employees that includes doctors, nurses and other health staffs.
Manohar Lal Khattar chief minister of Haryana had also announced the insurance policy for the health workers who don't have insurance cover benefit. Under this insurance coverage,doctors employed at Haryana State Government will get Rs 50 lakh insurance coverage, para medical staf will get Rs 20 lakh coverage, nurses will get Rs 30 lakh coverage while Class IV employees of the Haryana health department will get Rs 10 lakh insurance coverage. He further said that earlier there was shortage of personal protection equipment in the hospitals of harayana but now sufficient PPEs, N-95 masks, triple layer masks, ventilators, testing labs, and drugs are available to health workers so that they can fulfill their duties without any fear.
He praised all the people who are working to fight against the novel coronavirus and assured the people of haryana that they will get success in the fight against the novel coronavirus.
