Gujarat Technological University to conduct College Exams from June 25, Issues Guidelines
"Summer Examinations of 2020 from June 25". Gujarat Technological University issues a list of guidelines on Wednesday.
Terminal exams to be held for Final Semester, Second Semester, and Fourth Semester Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students.
1.2 Lakh students from Diploma Engineering, Pharmacy, Degree Engineering, Degree Pharmacy, Architecture, MBA, MCA, ME, and M. Pharm are going to take the exam. A detailed schedule will be displayed soon on the Gujarat Technological University Website.
The decision to take exams came after the decision of the Gujarat State Government which states to start college exams from June 25. State's Largest Varsity has approximately 550 colleges affiliated to it and almost 5.5 lakhs of students enrolled in them.
Naveen Seth, Vice-Chancellor of the Varsity says that they have declared the exam start dates so the students can remain well-prepared.
Revised paper style applicable only for Summer- 2020 examination will be displayed on GTU Official Website. For intermediate semesters, Merit-Based Progression will be implemented as per the notification of State Govt.'s recent Notification.
The exams will be conducted as per the norms of the State Govt. which includes wearing masks, maintaining social distance, an examination room not having more than 15 students. Those who not wearing masks will be not allowed to enter the examination hall.
Only External Exams will be conducted for all Semesters. If an internal exam is already taken, then the colleges can submit that marks only. Otherwise, marks will be given on Merit-Based Progression.
