TS SSC exams in other states can be conducted with necessary precautions.
On Friday, the high court directed the state to postpone SSC exams in the GHMC area due to COVID-19 fears.
The Court further ordered that the government must come up with a plan and if they are not able to then the entire exam would be forced to stay which is supposed to be conducted on 8th of June.
A bench consisting of Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan and Justice B Vijaysen Reddy said that the state must be more careful regarding the lives of the students. It should be more adaptable towards parents who are unwilling to send their children for the exam due to the coronavirus.
The bench observed that those who cannot take the exams now can take the exam in August or September.
The court said that if the government is not ready to allow such flexibility then the court has to stay the exam. The PIL was filed by M Balakrishna who sought postponement of the exam.
