NIRF 2020 Best Law College of India: NSLIU Bangalore
NSLIU Bangalore retains the top spot for the NIRF Best Law School in India. Followed by NLU Delhi in Second Place and NALSAR Hyderabad in third place.
Law faculty of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur grabbed the fourth position. The fifth position was occupied by NLU Jodhpur.
For the year 2019, the NIRF Rankings of the Top Three were the same.
NIRF or National Institute Ranking Framework includes five parameters: Teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practices, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and perception. It was launched by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development in the Year 2015.
The Rankings usually are revealed in the month of April but this year, due to COronavirus Outbreak, Rankings were delayed.
However, the Top 20 Ranks are as follows:

- NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad
- Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur
- National Law University, Jodhpur
- The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata

- Symbiosis Law School, Pune
- Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi
- The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala
- Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow
- Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar
- Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh
- National Law University, Cuttack
- Panjab University, Chandigarh
